All Parks Alliance for Change is the statewide organization for Minnesota’s 180,000 manufactured home park residents. APAC provides a vehicle for manufactured home owners to express their needs and concerns in their parks and in the larger community. Through education, grassroots organizing and leadership development, APAC works with residents to improve the quality of life in park neighborhoods, protect the rights of park residents, advance public policy change that supports safe, affordable, and stable park communities, and preserve this vital source of affordable housing.

2016 LEGISLATIVE UPDATE: Changes to the Manufactured Home Relocation Trust Fund

Changes to the
Manufactured Home Relocation Trust Fund

On May 22, the Minnesota Legislature approved and, June 1, Governor Mark Dayton signed into law changes to the relocation trust fund as part of what is called the "Supplemental Spending Bill." APAC researched, drafted, and lobbied for these changes. The legislation will go into effect after August 1, but they are now the law of the land.

The Manufactured Home Relocation Trust Fund will now provide significantly more to either move or replace a home when a park is closed for private redevelopment. To recap what is different:
